ATHLETES
These athletes are the stars of Inline Freestyle on a global level!
For each discipline and category – Junior Women, Junior Men, Senior Women, and Senior Men – the names listed below represent the best in the world.
Their placement is not random: it is the result of their performances in major international events, compiled in the prestigious World Ranking!
The World Skate Inline Freestyle World Ranking is a ranking of athletes created for each discipline of Inline Freestyle: Speed Slalom, Classic Freestyle Slalom, Battle Freestyle Slalom, Free Jump, Freestyle Slides, and Pair Freestyle Slalom.
Each event awards world ranking points to participants based on their results.
The rankings are updated every month, and the points expire after 12 months or when the same event is held again the following year.
The World Ranking is updated at the beginning of each month on the website www.worldskate.org.
The ranking aims to be objective and merit-based; it reflects, month by month, which athletes have been the best and most consistent in their performances over the past 12 months.

Events:
Different event levels award different points:
-
Starter Events
-
1-Star Events / Basic Events
-
2-Star Events / Prime Events
-
3-Star Events / Main Events
-
National Championships
-
Continental Championships
-
World Championships
The more important the event an athlete participates in, the more points they will earn in the world ranking.
Ranking Points:
Only those who actually participate in a competition earn points — even just 1 point.
If an athlete registers but does not take part in the competition, they receive no points for the World Ranking.
In the World Ranking, only an athlete’s “BEST 3” or “BEST 4” results from the past 12 months are counted — not all results.
This approach emphasizes quality over quantity in performance.
If two athletes have the same score based on their best 3 or 4 results, the total number of points earned over the last year is considered:
the athlete with the higher overall total will be ranked higher.
